Proper revenue cycle management lies at the heart of a successful pediatric medical practice. In this session we will teach the fundamentals and best practices of billing and coding for pediatric ophthalmology. In the last 24 months, the practice of coding and proper billing has changed. From utter dependence on electronic communication, EHR-based claims submission, and new complexity with the use of ICD-10 and CPT codes – revenue cycle management for pediatric ophthalmology is a complex, always changing field. This course seeks to provide a strong baseline for what is coding and how to bill in 2024, while also showcasing practical tips and tricks to stay ahead of coding issues.
